Silver is bright, pure and much-coveted by discerning jewellers. Contrary to the myth spread round by the unscrupulous Miners' Association, it has no particular effect on vampires. Unless they're miserly vampires... Or artistic vampires... Do vampires make jewellery? It doesn't... say... here... Anyway, if it's a really nasty vampire who's only out for blood, who has a good job... damn. Do vampires work?... Look, just sell the "bloody" thing or something.
