Captain Amakna Shield

A young adventurer once dreamt of joining the Bonta militia to protect the oppressed. Considered morally unfit for service, he was contacted by an Amakna alchemist who took advantage of his good nature, using him as a guinea-pig for his potions. You'll be glad to know that this is one story that ends... well, the middle bit is happy. He became so strong that he was known forever more as Captain Amakna and had this reputedly indestructible shield forged for him. The end... well, you don't wanna know the end.
