The Tarmite is a real scourge. It digs tunnels through the soil, gnaws at wood and chews away at the fibres in clothes. It's famous among the Kanigs as a 'love-it-or-hate-it' foodstuff, and the thought of this one drowning in stomach acid doesn't bother you at all.
